Started off at St.Michaels Mount but I think it was a bit too windy for the dogs on the beach they spent all the time we were on the beach trying to get off the beach.
So we got in the car as all good owners do what they are told, on the way back we decided to go to Rinsey. There is the engine house and a great view.
As you can see it's all grass ummm mud and errr horses doooodarrr .
Now look at the engine house look down to the bit of grass below see the bench well thats where we ended up , admittedly it isn't as far as it looks in the photo, butttttttt use your imagination for feel here. I had crocs on you know the shoes that look like lumps of lego they have holes lots of holes, its rained a lot here over the last week, ok the path was muddy very very muddy, the little shetland ponies or whatever they are poo everywhere and they don't clean up !!!! I step on the path its ok no problem get cocky and dont look where I am stepping , mmmm its wet its muddy with dooodarrrr it's cold and its seeping in said croc hmmmmm nice I slipped slid all the way to the bench then had to walk back up a path that was only wide enough to put one foot in front of another took ages as it was one step up 3 steps sliding back .
Moral of this story and advice if you come this way, put hot water on before you go so you can have a shower when you return, wear sensible boots not crocs keep spare shoes/crocs , water and a plastic bag in the car so you do not tread horses dooodarrrrr all over the inside of the car.
But do visit the Engine house at Rinsey its a beautiful view its a rubbish lane to drive down some of the potholes are bigger than most cars but you can dodge them
